Our lives move in spirals—from the double helix of our DNA to the rituals of our everyday existence—repeating, shifting; sometimes spiralling upwards, sometimes downwards, but never quite coming back to the same place.
Combining elements of dance, theatre, mime, music, projection and design into a synchronised and ever evolving loops Apartment 24, investigates how tells the story of a relationship falling apart as the memories of the past grow into a kaleidoscopic visual language.
Apartment 24 is a new take on dance theatre: a work of richly detailed and deeply nuanced physical storytelling, where movement becomes memory and repetition becomes revelation. Bringing virtuosic precision to everyday gestures, to reveal an intimate story of love, loss and anguish. Like a Swiss watch slowly tearing its own heart out.
