Dancer / Performer

Simona performs in the productions of Lenka Vagnerová & Company:Amazones.

Born on 13 February 1990 in Krupin (SK). She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and continued her master's degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She attended a half-year international study program at the Peridance Capezio Center in New York.   

As an interpreter she worked with the choreographer Lenka VAGNEROVÁ (CZ) at the performance "Amazon" (2017, 2018) and "Sorcerer" (2014), which resulted from an international cooperation with the German choreographer Felix LANDERER. She collaborated with Stanka VLČEK in the Slovak National Theatre in "Clouds" (2012), with Jan BURKIEWICZ (CZ) in "Divočina" (2015, 2016) and "Find Others" (2017). She performs in several musicals of the Slovak and Czech theatre scene in the choreography of Ladislav Cmorej, Ján Ďurovčík and others. She also performed on the Asian tour (China, Taiwan) of the French production of the musical "Romeo and Juliette" in 2016 and 2018 by Gerard Presgurvica in the choreography of Carlo PORTAL. 

In 2011 and 2012 she appeared in the final of the TV show Czechoslovakia Has Talent with dance groups "Ladylicious" and "CREDANCE". In 2014, she performed on stage at the British talent show X-factor in London as a member of a dance company in the choreography of Brian FRIEDMAN. 

She won awards for her choreographic and interpretative work at the Festival of Choreographic Miniatures in Belgrade in 2014 and 2015 and at the Internationales Solo-Tanz Theater Festival in Stuttgart, Germany in 2015, where she won the audience prize. She also danced at dance festivals in Brazil 2016. 

Her choreographic work was shown in projects such as "Chorea Slovaca" (2012) for the Slovak folk artistic group - SĽUK, in Bratislava Puppet Theater, in New Stage Theatre in "Hairspray" (2014), "Blood brothers" (2015) and “Cats” (2016). 

In 2015 she introduced her first full-length performance as a final diploma work, namely "Baggage" at the Elledanse Theater in Bratislava.
